ALIEN EGG

MATERIALS

Liquid silicone mould, Fast Cast, spray paint and acrylic paint.

This egg was cast from a silicone mould that was used on one of the ‘Alien’ film’s franchise. Fast Cast was poured into the mould to cast the basic egg shape.

Black spray paint was added as a base colour and dark green acrylic to create a little depth. Light green paint was dry brushed on top to bring out the highlights.

Metallic gold acrylic paint was dry brushed on top of the green. To finish the look, and knock back the sheen on the egg, dirty bronze paint was brushed on.
