MATERIALS

Tracing paper and Plasterline.

The pattern for the mirror frame was measured and drawn out onto tracing paper and traced onto the wooden base. Plasterline was rolled out and placed onto the wooded base to create a solid bottom for the mirror frame.

Pricking a pin through the tracing paper transferred the shape of the pattern onto the flat Plasterline base. The dots act as a guide for the main patterns shape. Sausages of Plasterline were used to fill in the pattern and then smoothed out using sculpting tools.
