EASTER ISLAND HEAD SCULPT & CAST

City Lit

MATERIALS

Air-dry clay, liquid silicone, Jesmonite, acrylic paint and metallic powder.

Clay sculpting techniques were used to create the Easter Island head, then cast in liquid silicone to create a one-part mould.

Jesmonite was used to make the final casting. Various tones of brown acrylic paint were sponged onto the cast to give it depth. Lastly, metallic powder was added to the highlights to create a metallic finish.
